What is Keystone?

In a bridge, a keystone is the central stone at the top of the arch which holds the entire structure together. In biology, a keystone is a species upon which an entire ecosystem depends to maintain its processes.  While there are other important factors which affect the success of the system, in both cases, the keystone is the core upon which all else depends.

Our mission at Keystone Squash is to promote life lessons such as sincerity, motivation, and handwork through both squash and STEM education, ultimately fostering leadership skills and confidence necessary for achievement later in life.  We hope to provide underprivledged children in the Stamford area with not only an opportunity to try out a new sport and stay physically active, but also provide them with high school age mentors who can help them achieve their potential.
